The iDriving project invites stakeholders across Europe to take part in a new survey on smart mobility and road safety. The consultation collects insights that will feed into evidence-based policy recommendations for the European Union on how to make road transport smarter, safer, and more sustainable.
The survey is open until the end of October 2025.
Why This Survey Matters
The survey focuses on three key objectives:
- Identifying regulatory and governance challenges,
- Understanding technical needs and opportunities,
- Gathering stakeholder perspectives on smart mobility and Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS).
Your input ensures that future EU transport policies reflect real-world expertise and address the needs of diverse stakeholders.
What Are Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS)?
‘Intelligent Transport Systems’ (ITS) apply information and communication technologies to road transport. This covers infrastructure, vehicles, and users, as well as traffic and mobility management, and interfaces with other modes of transport. ITS are at the heart of Europe’s transition towards safer, smarter, and more sustainable mobility.
