Project Coordinator - Centre for Research and Technology-Hellas (CERTH)

GREECE
CERTH serves as the coordinator and technical manager and WP Leader focusing on UAV path planning object detection algorithms onsite, defect detection and 3D representation. CERTH, as the Technical Manager, will ensure that all technical operations, from software development to hardware integrations, meet the accepted technical standards to reach the desired key performance indicators.

GREECE
TUC will act as the Scientific manager for iDriving, ensuring high research quality. TUC leads a Task related to the Scientific and technical management and contributes to many other tasks providing expertise in the fields of modeling, simulation, and optimization for traffic and transportation systems.

AUSTRIA
As a federal agency, AustriaTech brings valuable insights and expertise in transport policies and technologies, acting as a bridge between the project and national transport authorities. Our involvement ensures that iDriving aligns with national transportation strategies and road safety regulations. AustriaTech, being a non-profit organisation, will integrate the outcomes of iDriving into the domains of sustainable integration of automated and connected mobility solutions within the transport system.

Uni. Eiffel will contribute to iDriving by developing innovative tools dedicated to analyzing multisource data collected using cameras and UAVs to enhance and evaluate safety criteria in an era where the infrastructure is shared with multiple road users. Uni. Eiffel has expertise in statistical learning and analysis, data fusion, and the development of diagnostic and maintenance tools for transport systems.

DReVen's primary role is to lead the development of an advanced environmental monitoring service tailored for urban and secondary roads. This initiative involves deploying state-of-the-art weather stations strategically placed to gather real-time data on various weather conditions affecting road safety. Utilizing sophisticated algorithms, DReVen aims to analyze this data to promptly identify hazards such as flooding from heavy rainfall and black ice from sudden temperature drops.

Alba Iulia Municipality (AIM)

ROMANIA
The municipality of Alba Iulia will be involved as a pilot city, testing some of the smart solutions produced within the project in partnership with the other consortium partners and especially TEKNIKER and SIMAVI. As an organizer for a PUC3 scenario, AIM will contribute its infrastructure and know-how to the project. The pilot will involve real time incident management in Alba Iulia in order to test and validate new solutions which can create a safer traffic in the city.
