Watch again: digital twins for safer roads with EvoRoads and CAMBER

On 23 September 2026, iDriving and its sister Horizon Europe projects EvoRoads and CAMBER held a joint online workshop, “Innovative digital twin solutions for enhanced Road Asset & Safety Management”. If you missed it, the full recording is now available on YouTube.

Workshop highlights (1:16)

Why digital twins?

A road digital twin is a virtual model of the road, kept up to date with data from multiple sensing technologies. It makes it possible to measure safety criteria as conditions change and supports automated diagnosis and forecasting for maintenance. This helps road authorities manage their roads in a more proactive, data-driven way, in support of the Safe System approach and the EU’s Vision Zero ambition.

What’s in the recording
