On January 13-14, the Municipality of Thessaloniki hosted a landmark two-day conference titled “The Resilience of Thessaloniki to the Climate Crisis 2025-2030.” The event brought together policymakers and experts to define the city’s roadmap for a sustainable and safe future.
During the conference, the city administration unveiled 22 strategic plans aimed at achieving urban resilience and climate neutrality. We are proud to report that iDriving was featured as a core technological enabler within these plans, recognized for its potential to create safer and more adaptive transport infrastructure.
This inclusion marks a significant milestone for the project, demonstrating a successful bridge between research and real-world policy. By linking iDriving directly with Thessaloniki’s long-term resilience strategy, the project is proving its value not just in theory, but as a practical tool for local stakeholders.
This achievement highlights how EU-funded research is being translated into tangible benefits for citizens, directly contributing to urban safety and climate adaptation in the years to come.
