On April 3, 2025, the Municipality of Thessaloniki represented the consortium at the CARBONICA “Brain Gain” Conference in Thessaloniki.
While the event’s primary focus was on climate-resilient agriculture, our partner seized the opportunity to demonstrate the broader applicability of the iDriving project under the thematic pillar of “Urban Resilience & Climate Neutrality.”
This participation underscores the project’s significant cross-sectoral relevance. During the session, the Municipality demonstrated how Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) do more than just manage traffic, they are vital tools for lowering emissions and adapting urban infrastructure to modern climate challenges.
By positioning iDriving within this context, we successfully expanded our stakeholder base beyond the traditional transport sector, engaging with key actors involved in urban sustainability and climate adaptation.
